‘King of the Hill Revival’ Sets Hulu Release Date, Drops First-Look
Hulu has released the first-look at the “King of the Hill” revival, marking the show’s return to TV after 15 years.
The 14th season of the beloved animated series will debut all 10 episodes on Aug. 4. In addition to the first-look photo that can be seen above, Hulu also released the updated opening credits, which can be seen below.
The official description for the new season states:
“After years working a propane job in Saudi Arabia to earn their retirement nest egg, Hank and Peggy Hill return to a changed Arlen, Texas to reconnect with old friends Dale, Boomhauer and Bill. Meanwhile, Bobby is living his dream as a chef in Dallas and enjoying his 20s with his former classmates Connie, Joseph and Chane.”
The cast of the series includes Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, the late Johnny Hardwick, Stephen Root, Lauren Tom, and Toby Huss.
“King of the Hill,” from 20th Television Animation, is executive produced by original co-creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, as well as executive producer and showrunner Saladin Patterson. 3 Arts’ Michael Rotenberg and Howard Klein, and Bandera Entertainment’s Dustin Davis serve as executive producers.
